Description
As a member of the Strategy and Support Team, you will enjoy a variety of specific job, project, and client assignments. Your overall goal will be to ensure the Human Resource Branch service goals are met. Your assignments will involve the research and development of leading edge solutions to assist the organization in achieving business objectives.

Duties include:
Participating in projects to design, facilitate and implement new practices or programs in support of the Corporate Human Resources Plan.
Developing recommendations to create leading-edge solutions in order to address specific workforce-related problems.
Conducting leading practice research on topics related to organization effectiveness and program design.
Providing consulting and facilitation support in areas of productivity and performance improvement
Facilitating the resolution of specific and immediate problems or needs by providing third-party problem-solving facilitation.
Writing reports such as project proposals, implementation plans, and position or research papers.
Qualifications
A University degree in Business Administration with a major in Human Resource Management or acceptable related degree
Up to 5 years of diversified and progressive HR professional experience
Knowledge of Organizational Development principles and practices. Examples include change management, strategic planning, adult education, data collection and analysis techniques
Demonstrated skills in conducting research, augmented with an orientation towards continuous learning
Solid project management skills
Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills are essential
Excellent performance consulting skills
Client consultation and issue diagnosis skills
Superior customer service skills and an ability to establish strong collaborative working relationships with clients and colleagues
Computer proficiency and experience in Microsoft Office applications and Peoplesoft are essential
Ability to deal effectively with conflict, utilizing an interest-based problem solving approach
Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills are essential
Candidates not possessing the required qualifications and experience may be considered at a developmental level.
Where appropriate, applicants may be required to participate in job specific test

HOURS OF WORK: 36.9 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Hours of work may be subject to the terms and conditions of a variable hours of work program.

SALARY RANGE: 109, $54,842.91 - $78,347.01 (Annually).
