Description:
As the FOIP (Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act) Clerk you will be involved in supporting the FOIP Coordinator and supporting the department records coordination. Your responsibilities will include:
Receiving and acknowledging FOIP inquiries from the public or staff.
Recording inquiries and maintaining FOIP files.
Initiating requests for information to various branches of departments and follow up.
Preparing memos/correspondence for review.
Preparing copies of documentation and noting or removing duplicates.
Reporting FOIP activity levels as required for the Department.
Attending Corporate FOIP meetings.
Working with department records coordination in managing hard copy and electronic records and other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade, including business subjects with emphasis on general office practices, or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college.
A minimum of three (3) year's progressively responsible and diversified office experience including FOIP experience and records management.
Applicant must have FOIP training (eg. introduction to FOIP course and FOIP in the City). FOIP certification is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated discretion and tact when dealing with FOIP inquiries.
Supervisory knowledge and course work.
Familiarity with civic/department structure, policies, and experience working in cross department committee structures.
Able to use Microsoft office software package.

· Responsible for all pre-work communication, meeting topics, content, maintenance and delivery.
Qualifications:
Completion of grade 12 or completion or an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college; Post-secondary education is an asset.
A minimum of five years experience working in a call centre environment; including two years at the team lead level.
Call centre training and supervisory coursework.
Previous experience successfully leading call centre teams within a customer focused environment; Ability to develop a team in terms of professionalism and efficiency.
Previous experience providing performance appraisals.
Problem solving skills.
Ability and willingness to be trained for new skills and abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with scheduling.
Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

· Ensuring that the scripting of the knowledge network is current and detailed in the system;
· Reviewing what types of calls are being received by agents and identifying if certain forms or other types of information can be put up on the web so that citizens can access more web self-service options;
· Ensuring that any communication going out to agents is delivered in an appropriate manner;
· Responsible for all pre-work communication, meeting topics, content, maintenance and delivery.
Qualifications:
Completion of grade 12 or completion or an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college; Post-secondary education is an asset.
A minimum of five years experience working in a call centre environment; including two years at the team lead level.
Call centre training and supervisory coursework.
Previous experience successfully leading call centre teams within a customer focused environment; Ability to develop a team in terms of professionalism and efficiency.
Previous experience providing performance appraisals.
Problem solving skills.
Ability and willingness to be trained for new skills and abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with scheduling.
Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build relationships with direct reports, supervisors, and co-workers.

As a member of the Market Research Team within the Policy and Research section you will provide primary and secondary market research support to the Community Services Department.
The Market Planner I will be responsible for supporting strategic market research for Community Services Department, its Branches and Sections
In conjunction with a Market Research Consultant, you will create online surveys and execute them to target audiences, as well as collect and transfer data to SPSS format, analyze data & produce reports
Conduct secondary research including e-scanning, best practice reviews and demographic/trend analysis
Provide survey data entry and perform statistical analysis including table and chart generation .
In a professional research manner, complete benchmark research with internal and external stakeholders, gathering data related to fee structure, product usage, business practices, market trends, competition activities, hours of operation and best practices
Actively work within a Department focus/approach for future business development.
Qualifications
Completion of a university degree in Commerce or related technical fields with major course work in marketing research or a Marketing Diploma and 2 years Market research experience.
Experience in developing and managing research and evaluation technology, data entry and advanced statistical analysis coupled with the ability to create professional reports and presentations.
Working knowledge and direct experience with Microsoft, Access and statistical software.
Note: An equivalent combination of marketing and computer coursework may be considered in lieu of experience.
